Abstract

This study aimed to identify the most significant features of Ibn Khaldun's educational thought, determine the teaching strategies he proposed, and reveal the extent to which these strategies relate to modern studies and teaching approaches. The study employed both the descriptive-analytical and historical methodologies. It reached several conclusions, the most important of which is that Ibn Khaldun's theory of education is a comprehensive and integrated pedagogical framework. Furthermore, the study confirmed that Ibn Khaldun established general educational objectives alongside clear and specific teaching strategies, and that these strategies are closely linked to the foundations and principles advocated by contemporary teaching strategies.
