This study aimed to analyze the impact of digital transformation on improving institutional performance in service institutions, by focusing on the dimensions of operational efficiency and service quality. The study also sought to examine the nature of the relationship between digital transformation and institutional performance, and to measure the extent of its impact on enhancing performance effectiveness within institutions.
The study adopted the descriptive analytical approach, employing two main methods: a systematic review of previous literature through the analysis of a group of recent studies, in addition to the quantitative approach using a questionnaire as the main tool for collecting data from a random sample of employees working in service institutions. The data were analyzed using the statistical software SPSS, applying a set of statistical methods such as Pearson’s correlation coefficient and linear regression analysis.
The study found a strong, positive, and statistically significant relationship between digital transformation and institutional performance. The results also showed that digital transformation has a positive effect on improving service quality and increasing operational efficiency. The regression analysis results indicated that digital transformation explains a considerable proportion of the variation in institutional performance, reflecting its importance as a strategic factor in institutional development. The study recommended the adoption of integrated digital strategies, strengthening investment in technological infrastructure, and developing human resource skills to support digital transformation and achieve institutional excellence.
