Requirements and Challenges of Digital Transformation in Educational Administration: An Analytical Vision in Light of Contemporary Experiences

Abstract

The rapid development in information and communication technologies has brought about fundamental changes in the structure of educational systems, directly impacting the management methods of educational institutions. Administrative operations are no longer dependent on paper-based procedures and traditional mechanisms; instead, they have shifted toward adopting technical solutions and digital systems to organize operations, coordinate resources, and support decision-making. This research aims to identify the requirements and challenges of digital transformation in educational administration, review the most prominent leading models and experiences in this field, and analyze their contribution to enhancing organizational performance. The study adopted a descriptive-analytical approach by reviewing relevant literature and previous studies. The findings indicate that the success of digital transformation depends on the availability of technical infrastructure, organizational readiness, and human resource development, in addition to a clear legislative framework and digital governance. The study concluded with a set of recommendations that support comprehensive digital transformation in educational institutions.
